Run the studio

Agents

Ask shipLua about your studio, or let a named agent check on a schedule. Both read as you, and both wait for a person.

The Agent

Agent in the sidebar is a conversation. It reads your tasks, updates, events and game metrics with your role, cites what it read, and drafts plans for you to accept. It never changes the game by itself. Only you can see your conversations.

Agents and approvals

Agents and approvals is where named agents live. New agent starts from a template:

  • Studio watcher reads the briefing each day and says what needs a person.
  • Update guard checks the next update’s tasks and blockers and says whether it can ship.
  • Audit reviewer explains serious findings after a code review, and which have no task yet.
  • Your own uses instructions you write, with the same limits.

You choose what it may read, one experience or the whole studio, and a schedule: every hour, every day, every week, or only when someone runs it. It can stay read-only, or be allowed to propose tasks. Proposals wait on Approvals until a person accepts them. Runs lists what each run read and what it concluded. An agent acts with your role and never more.

The Scheduled tab in Agents and approvals lists agents that check on their own, with the next run, and says how soon a due one starts.

Coding agents in Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Codex are a different connection. Set those up under AI, MCP and editors.
