Questions

What is a credit?

One credit is about one US cent of AI use. Each answer, plan, review or agent run holds a few credits while it works, then you pay only what it used and the rest comes back. Analytics, tasks, LiveOps and the Studio plugin never use credits.

How does the 7-day trial work?

Each studio can try one paid plan free for 7 days, once. A card is needed to start it so one person can’t start endless trials, and the trial includes 300 credits. Cancel before day 7 from Plan and billing and nothing is charged.

Why is everything in early access?

We’re building shipLua with a small group of studios. New accounts may need an invite code, and free limits are kept small while we watch costs. Paid plans are not open to buy yet. Join the waitlist and nothing is charged before billing is live. A limited demo is separate from early access when it is turned on.

What happens when I run out of credits?

AI features pause until your included credits reset on your plan’s monthly date. Owners can buy a pack (1,000 for $10 or 3,000 for $27, valid a year) or set a monthly spending limit so a busy week can’t surprise them. Individual studios also get a small free AI review allowance shown in the Audit workflow.

Can I bring my own AI subscription?

Yes. Coding agents you already pay for, like Claude Code or Cursor, connect through the shipLua MCP server and use your own plan, not shipLua credits.
